Beadwork Kit and Bead Mat Set

from CA$87.00

The perfect set of your favourite beadwork kit and bead mat set!

This beading mat will be the last one your ever need to buy, unless you want buy the smaller version that is coming out soon!

This thick, flexible desk mat is made from neoprene sourced from recycled rubber and its eco-poly surface fabric (made from recycled bottles and clothing) is large enough to arrange all of your bead canisters and projects. You can use it as a mousepad and laptop pad, and it is thick enough to store your needles upright for safe and easy access. Featuring my ever-popular Blueberries on Birchbark print, it will add colour and vibrancy to your workspace and inspire your patterns.

The back of this mat is a flexible, non-slip surface to keep your project secure as you work. I have prototyped this product extensively and found the correct thickness and size for my workflow and I hope that you will love it too! It measures 11 3/4” by 27”, (30 × 68.5 cms).

This mat rolls up into a tube for storage and is washable with soap and warm water.

From my classic designs, I have developed and put together a step-by-step instructions to make each of these projects. The PDF instructional is designed to be used by beaders of all ability levels and the kit includes everything that you need to make a pin or pair of earrings.

Every kit will include all the beads you need, earring hooks in your choice of 22 karat gold plated or sterling silver, thread protectors, thread, Indigenous harvested and ecologically tanned deer hide for the backings, needles, beading thread, patterns affixed to an interfacing, beading snips, e6000 glue, foam bead mat and my current assortment of bookmark and sticker pack.

The PDF includes photos of every step to guide you through learning the two needle beadwork technique and troubleshooting uncommon problems encountered while beading, a printable sheet of patterns for you to make more projects, as well as my own blueberry jam recipe including water bath canning tips and a list of resources to engage people with Indigenous food sovereignty and harvesting.

Each PDF can be downloaded from the website after purchase and the PDFs are also available on their own! There is a comprehensive materials list available for those who buy the PDF separately so that you can buy your own materials. I am making this pattern open source without copyright, so that you can make these earrings and sell them in your own business.
