Blueberry Circuitry Medicine Bag/Purse - Indigenous Nordique - Navy

Worn by Tantoo Cardinal for the New York premiere of Killers of the Flower Moon! Part of my newest collection, Indigenous Nordique, this stunning purse/medicine bag is certainly a favourite of mine. It measures 15x17cm (22cm wide with the fur) and is made from vintage merino wool felt, wild-trapped arctic fox, brain tanned and smoked deer skin, merino wool felt appliqué, vintage and modern seed beads and an authentic Russian blue trade bead.

The 120cm long shoulder strap has a herringbone edging that been meticulously hand stitched to both sides of the brain tanned leather. The hand stitching alone in the strap took 3.5 hours. There is more than 12 hours of beading in this piece.

This is truly a one of a kind piece and is a piece of art, which is reflected in the price.
