I have decided that I will be running this project as a workshop class where my students will have the choice to create their own pattern and bead with their own materials on the base materials provided, or have the option to upgrade to all the beading materials provided. Most beaders already the materials to create their own work, but not the specialty materials and pattern for an advanced project.
This knife sheath can be attached to a beaded lanyard and/or be attached to a belt with a loop stitched onto the back. (The size of the knife in the kit allows for both neck wear and belt wear.)
Students will also have the option between commercially tanned moose-hide (Indigenous harvested) or brain-tanned smoked moose hide, and have the choice to make the sheath to fit their own knife or purchase a simple, high quality knife with the kit.
These three classes will be taught live on zoom and all zoom links will go out immediately before classes. Kits will be shipped in time to arrive 1-2 weeks before the start of classes. (American students, please email me at info@indigenousnouveau.com before ordering.)
Recordings will be available the day after the class takes place to allow for any editing.

Base kit includes everything for a fringed sheath to embellish with your own materials:
Small hunting/harvesting knife, commercially-tanned Indigenous harvest moose hide, sinew, glovers/sewing needles, patterns and written instructions, fittings, small leather punch, stickers & card pack, and three instructional classes (5+ hours) - $225
Upgrade to brain tanned and smoked hide (Only 8 upgrades available) +$65
Upgrade to beading materials for a blueberry branch pattern +$25
(Beading materials include: beads, snips, needles, bead canisters, nymo thread, paracord lanyard, sized pattern and heat transfer pen)
Add beads for fully beaded lanyard (and edge beading) with 5 colours +$16
